Mercantil’s Class “A” and Class “B” shares are listed on the Caracas Stock Exchange since 1947.

  • Class “A” shares (MVZ.A): entitle the holder to one vote at any general shareholders meeting.
  • Class “B” shares (MVZ.B): entitle the holder to 1/10 votes at any general shareholders meeting, but only for the purposes of appointing the Principal Statutory Auditor and its Alternate and for the approval of Financial Statements submitted by the Board of Directors.

Mercantil’s shares are also traded in the over–the–counter market (OTC) in the United States of America through a Level 1 American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) program. Class “B” shares are traded since 1996 and Class “A” shares are traded since 2006.

Each Mercantil ADR has a 1:4 ratio. Their tickers are MSFZY for Class “A” and MSFJY for Class “B”. Mercantil’s Depository Bank is JPMorgan Chase Bank.
